Rick Buckler, drummer for legendary UK rock band The Jam, has died on the age of 69. An announcement from his household states that Buckler “handed away peacefully on Monday night in Woking after a brief sickness with household by his aspect.”
The Jam’s Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton each paid tribute to their late bandmate, with Weller stating, “I’m shocked and saddened by Rick’s passing. I’m considering again to us all rehearsing in my bed room in Stanley Highway, Woking. To all of the pubs and golf equipment we performed at as children, to ultimately making a file. What a journey! We went far past our desires and what we made stands the take a look at of time. My deepest sympathy to all household and mates.”
Foxton added, “I used to be shocked and devastated to listen to the very unhappy information at present.
