GWAR are rolling out a brand new album and comedian ebook launch, The Return of Gor Gor, arriving June twenty fifth through Pit Information and Z2 Comics. The video for brand spanking new tune “Lot Lizard” will be streamed now.
The seven-track album contains three model new studio-recorded songs that have been combined by Kurt Ballou (Converge), plus 4 reside tracks captured at The Masquerade in Atlanta throughout GWAR’s 2024 tour (and combined by Chris Ronan Murphy).
Amongst these studio cuts is “Lot Lizard,” a two-and-a-half-minute blitz of thrashy punk metallic a few “crack-addicted cross-dressing dinosaur prostitute that shreds weiners at truck cease pickle parks,” within the phrases of imitable frontman Blothar. In patented GWAR trend, this comes with a NSFW video of mentioned prostitute and his, um, clientele.

The prostitute’s origin story will be discovered within the 32-page The Return of Gor Gor comedian that accompanies the album. It tells of the return of Gor Gor, GWAR’s long-lost, three-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex. Per the press launch description: “The story of an orphaned T-Rex cub, misplaced in a wicked world that’s fully alien to him. Will he develop into an ally of the legendary Scumdogs of the Universe, or will their reunion unleash an apocalyptic battle? Solely time will inform.”
Added singer Blothar, “The final time I noticed Gor Gor he was only a wee fart dragon. He had crawled on the hood of my Kia Soul and was holding on for expensive life whereas I drove to the shop to purchase Clamato. I bathed him in wiper fluid and used my wipers to knock him off my candy journey. Subsequent factor I do know, he’s a 20-foot tall trans-species prostitute working a pickle park. Apparently, he’s all grown up and searching for revenge. This document chronicles his struggles as a younger Dino-American attempting to make his manner in a merciless world.”
