Weapons N’ Roses have introduced the departure of Frank Ferrer, the legendary band’s longest-serving drummer at 19 years with the Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame act.
A press launch describes the break up as “amicable,” including, “The band thanks Frank for his friendship, creativity, and durable presence over the previous 19 years, and so they want him success within the subsequent chapter of his musical journey.”
Ferrer joined Weapons N’ Roses in June 2006 and has been enjoying exhibits with the band ever since, together with over the previous near-decade because the 2016 return of guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. He changed Bryan “Mind” Mantia, following earlier stints by Josh Freese, Matt Sorum, and basic GN’R drummer Steven Adler.
Weapons N’ Roses haven’t introduced a substitute for Ferrer as of but. Adler nonetheless excursions along with his personal band, enjoying Weapons N’ Roses songs, whereas Freese grew to become a member of Foo Fighters following the passing of Taylor Hawkins.
