Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield died peacefully in his sleep of “respiratory points” following a long-standing battle with the lung situation emphysema.

The Stone Roses and Primal Scream legend died on November 20, on the age of 63, and his reason for dying has been revealed days earlier than he is set to be laid to relaxation in Manchester on December 22.

Confirming the unhappy information of his passing, Greg wrote: “IT IS WITH THE HEAVIEST OF HEARTS THAT I HAVE TO ANNOUNCE THE SAD PASSING OF MY BROTHER GARY MANI MOUNFIELD. RIP RKID.(sic)”
Mani reportedly handed away at his dwelling in Stockport after collapsing. An ambulance was referred to as, however he could not be revived.
