Might Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham be headed towards a reunion, both as a duo or with Fleetwood Mac? A brand new tease by the previous musical companions on Instagram is stirring up some rumours (see what we did there?).
On Thursday (July seventeenth), Nicks posted the handwritten phrases on her Instagram account (see under), “And for those who go ahead…,” with Buckingham finishing the road on his personal Instagram web page, “I’ll meet you there.” Collectively, the strains full a lyric from their 1973 Buckingham Nicks track “Frozen Love.” Moreover, Mick Fleetwood posted a video of himself listening to the exact same track on Wednesday, and captioning it, “Magic then, magic now.”
Nicks (who has tour dates scheduled by way of October) and Buckingham had been as soon as romantic companions in addition to bandmates, and have had a tumultuous relationship through the years. Buckingham was let go from Fleetwood Mac in 2018, with Mike Campbell and Neil Finn taking his place. The band hasn’t toured because the passing of singer-keyboardist Christine McVie in 2022, and Nicks beforehand acknowledged “there’s no likelihood of placing Fleetwood Mac again collectively in any means… with out her.”
