Sir Stephen Fry’s illustrious profession was honoured on the 2025 Selection Membership Showbusiness Awards.
The 68-year-old actor-and-broadcaster was awarded Excellent Contribution to Theatre and Movie, honouring his extraordinary profession as an actor, author, and advocate for the humanities on the occasion, held at The Londoner Lodge, Leicester Sq., London, on Sunday (19.10.25) evening.
The Selection Membership Showbusiness Awards are an annual celebration of outstanding leisure, recognising the achievements of high expertise throughout movie, TV, comedy, theatre, and music, whereas supporting the work of Selection, the Youngsters’s Charity, by elevating funds to remodel the lives of kids with disabilities and drawbacks throughout the UK.
Talking about Selection following his win, Stephen instructed the charity in a video uploaded to its Instagram Tales: “Oh, I thank Selection as a result of it is proved in 70 years that it actually makes a distinction.
