Simon Cowell doesn’t suppose that Bob Dylan would have made the lower on American Idol.
In an interview with the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, Cowell gave his ideas in regards to the legendary singer auditioning for the truth competitors that he judged.
“Once I heard Bob Dylan’s model of that Adele music, ‘Make You Really feel My Love,’ I didn’t know he wrote the music,” stated Cowell, referencing Dylan’s 1997 observe famously coated by Adele in 2008. “I feel if he’d walked in and sang that model, I’m not gonna lie, I might’ve gone, ‘Overlook it.’ Critically. As a result of I didn’t even know he wrote the music, after I heard his model, I used to be like, ‘Whoa.’ I simply don’t suppose that might have been a terrific audition.”
