Rebecca Ferguson has teased the story of Dune: Half Three is “phenomenal”.
The 41-year-old actress will reprise her position of Girl Jessica in director Denis Villeneuve’s third instalment within the sci-fi saga, and Ferguson has now promised Dune: Half Three received’t disappoint.
Talking about adapting creator Frank Herbert’s work for the massive display with IndieWire, she stated: “The script is phenomenal. It’s actually laborious to create a movie, it’s such a dense e-book. There’s a lot to inform.
“[Villeneuve] does dip out and in and he does attempt to he does need to have sure connections and tentacles to the e-book. No matter Denis touches I feel is phenomenal.”
As she doesn’t “have an enormous half on this one”, Ferguson revealed she has already completed filming for Dune: Half Three, which is slated to hit cinemas on December 18, 2026.
Given Girl Jessica has a minor position in Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune: Messiah – on which Dune: Half Three relies – Ferguson teased Villeneuve had “just a little thought” of what to do together with her character within the film.
