Perennial Announce New EP Perennial ’65, Share Title Track: Stream

New England storage punk trio Perennial are again to announce a brand new EP, Perennial ‘65, out April 4th. They’ve additionally shared the EP’s title monitor.

Perennial ‘65 finds the band increasing on the ’60s-inspired “mod-punk” sound captured on their 2024 album, Artwork Historical past. The EP is comprised of a canopy of The Kinks’ “All Day and The entire Night time,” originals “C is for Cubism” and the newly-revealed title monitor, and two remixes of tracks from Artwork Historical past: a rework of “Tiger Method” courtesy of The Blood Brothers’ Cody Votolato, and a remix of “Up-Tight” from ex-Dying Cab for Cutie guitarist and producer Chris Walla.

“Perennial ’65” is as catchy and rambunctious as something on Artwork Historical past, and serves as an ideal crash course into the band’s mixture of traditional pop and explosive punk. The incessant tambourine hits and old-school organ enjoying carry an air of nostalgia, however the dueling vocals from Chad Jewett and Chelsea Hahn present heaps of rousing power.
