Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem will star collectively in ‘Bunker’.

The couple – who married in 2010 and have two kids collectively – will seem in writer-director Florian Zeller’s upcoming film, which is described as “a thriller that delves into the emotional and ethical challenges a pair faces amid the tensions of the world round them, exploring the fears, doubts, and dilemmas that outline our period”.

The movie sees a spouse query her 17-year marriage after her husband accepts a morally ambiguous challenge of constructing a survival bunker for a billionaire, and was written particularly within the English language for Penelope and Javier.
