Nina Wadia “hated” getting glammed up for Strictly Come Dancing.
The 56-year-old actress stated donning sequinned outfits and getting a glowing tan for the hit BBC Latin and ballroom dance present in 2021 was not her “cup of tea in any respect”.
Showing on the newest episode of QVC’s The Pleasure of Procuring podcast, she instructed host Emma Actual-Davis: “My most hated factor about doing Strictly was truly on the brink of do the present.
“You are going to hate me for this, however I genuinely – it was not my cup of tea in any respect.
“The preening and the prodding, and the being sewn into and the being sucked into, and the being kicked into, I disliked that aspect of it.
“That and that tanning factor. I am fricking Indian, I do not want a tan!
“They put you half-naked on this sales space and spray you in your face. You are like, ‘What is going on to my life?’
“That to me was actually surprising.”
Fortunately for Nina, she solely needed to prepare for Strictly Come Dancing a couple of occasions as she and her skilled dance companion, Neil Jones, 43, have been the primary couple eradicated from the present in 2021.
