New and Noteworthy J-pop

In reference to my want to completely sustain with the J-pop trade, I’m planning on doing a weekly round-up of any new releases which have caught my ear. A few of these might have been coated on the weblog already, however my hope is that this may turn out to be a one-stop store for anybody involved in what’s new in J-pop.

With that in thoughts, right here’s the place you are available in: I’m one individual with one set of musical preferences, so please embed some other new J-pop tracks you’ve loved within the feedback so we are able to get a fuller spectrum every week.

Bestted – CLIPPING!!!

Who doesn’t like a bit of latest jack swing? I don’t know who these guys are however the music is enjoyable and the vocals are surprisingly robust. One of many higher debuts I’ve heard currently.

Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora (BOKUAO) – Kairo ni tsuki

A candy, surging sound.

Bullet Practice (Chotokkyu) – Actual

A bounding electro dance monitor. I prefer it!

cosmosy – Physics

Very loungy dance music. Not my factor.

ExWHYZ – Remorse (music of the week!)

An enormous, satisfying EDM monitor.

Fujii Kaze – Casket Lady

This has a pleasant groove however I prefer it lower than his last few singles. I really like how he’s persevering with to advertise this album, although.

INI – U Mine (music of the week!)

That is tremendous fairly. The tone jogs my memory a little bit of TWS’s Final Pageant (as filtered by way of 90s-style manufacturing), although the music isn’t as robust. The vocal-led refrain could be very putting, although.

Kira (Girls²) – Fairly Boss

Sigh. Extra sing-talk posturing. What number of of those songs do we’d like?

NiziU – Fairy Magic

Because the title suggests, that is ultra-kawaii sort idol pop – colourful, frilly attire and all.

NiziU – Villain

This unit monitor is of a special style than their common materials. Not a fan of all of the sing-talk, although.

Nogizaka46 – Yumenonioi

They’ve filmed loads of music movies for this spherical of promotions! This one’s a solo ballad. It’s fairly boring, sadly.

One N’ Solely – Trip

A nice tropical sound.

The Tremendous Fruit – Welcome To Our World

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from these guys. That is enjoyable and jaunty, simply as you’d hope.

Takase Toya – Climber (music of the week!)

A pleasant piano ballad that turns right into a thumping anthem. Don’t flip this off earlier than the switch-up.

Tomohisa Yamashita – The Artist

This rock sound suits him surprisingly properly.

Yena – Star! (ft. Hatsune Miku)

Followers of her quirkier aspect will in all probability love this. It’s a bit too chirpy aegyo for me.
