Limp Bizkit in emotional tribute to late bassist Sam Rivers at first show since his death

Limp Bizkit honoured late bassist Sam Rivers at their first live performance since his loss of life on Saturday (29.11.25).

The nu steel star sadly died on October 18, on the age of 48, after struggling cardiac arrest. And, because the Break Stuff rockers returned to the stage at Mexico Metropolis’s Estadio Fray Nano, they performed a transferring tribute video to their bandmate.

The phrases “Sam Rivers, our brother without end” and “Sam Rivers, we love you without end” popped up.

He added: “I used to be very, very lucky to have him in my life, and I’m so extremely grateful to have shared a part of this journey with Sam Rivers, an enormous a part of my journey. I’m tremendous, tremendous grateful and I miss him terribly already. All of the help and love I’ve seen on the market on-line is overwhelming, he actually did have an effect on the world. His music and his present is the one which’s going to maintain on giving. I simply love him a lot.”

The award-winning musician left Limp Bizkit for some years in 2015, on account of liver illness from “extreme ingesting”.

He informed creator Jon Wiederhorn for the e-book Elevating Hell: “I give up ingesting and did every thing the medical doctors informed me.
