James Bay gained “unbelievable expertise and perception” writing his new music with Brandon Flowers.

The ‘Maintain Again The River’ hitmaker is hoping he will get to work once more with The Killers frontman after the pair teamed up on his newest tune, ‘Simple Distraction’, out now.
James mentioned: “The music is about realising too late that somebody means a lot to you, however you continue to wish to present them and allow them to know.
“It’s exploring how, within the face of adversity we will nonetheless attain out, we will nonetheless join.”
On how he got here to work with the ‘Any person Informed Me’ hitmaker, he added: “I came upon from a mutual buddy that Brandon was inquisitive about writing with newer artists, so I jumped on the probability and went to work with him in Park Metropolis, Utah over in America.

The music has been within the works for a number of years now, as again in 2020, the ‘Wild Love’ hitmaker revealed he’d been within the studio with ‘Mr. Brightside’ rocker.
He advised NME on the time: “[Flowers] invited me into the studio, and we wrote and demoed a music.
“The perception I bought from working with him was unbelievable, and to be in his presence watching him work and write music the way in which he does is one thing I’ll always remember. He’s a consummate professional and deserves the legendary standing he already has.
“I introduced a melody to our session, and he mentioned, ‘F***, it’s like a straight-up Beatles melody proper there’. I used to be like ‘OK, so Brandon Flowers is evaluating a melody I wrote to The Beatles’ – it was surreal! It was a really cool second.”
The monitor is taken from James’ upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Adjustments All The Time’.
‘Simple Distraction’ follows the lead single, ‘Up All Evening’, that includes Noah Kahan and The Lumineers.
