Coming a decade after Beam and Bridwell’s first covers venture, Sing Into My Mouth, the EP was recorded in North Carolina earlier this yr with Brad Prepare dinner and his home band. Different reimaginings embrace songs by U2, boygenius, Foreigner, and Roxy Music.
In a press launch, Bridwell described his reunion with Beam as “a homecoming in so some ways.” The Band of Horses frontman defined that he selected “Luther” as a result of it was his favourite monitor on Kendrick’s then newly launched GNX album, enjoying the music to “my women to the purpose of exhaustion.”
