Huge Thief are again with two new songs, “Los Angeles” and “Grandmother.” The tracks are the newest singles from the band’s upcoming sixth studio album, Double Infinity, set for a September fifth launch through 4AD. Stream them under.
That includes ambient musician Laraaji on backing vocals and zither, the emotive “Grandmother” is the primary Huge Thief music written by all three band members collectively. The six-minute meditation appears at “generational love and ache,” in response to a press launch.”
In the meantime, “Los Angeles” is a heart-wrenching lament chronicling previous lovers discovering their approach to turning into buddies, with Adrianne Lenker singing, “I’ll comply with you perpetually/ Even with out trying/ You name, we come collectively.”

The brand new singles comply with the summery “All Evening All Day,” which the band shared final month. Again in June, they revealed the album’s lead single, “Incomprehensible.”
Huge Thief will comply with the September fifth launch of Double Infinity by embarking on the primary leg of a 2025 tour, dubbed the “Somersault Slide 360 Tour.” The dates start on September seventeenth in Sacramento, California, with stops in Berkeley, Portland, Boston, New Orleans, and extra earlier than wrapping issues up in Houston on November seventh.
