The 34-year-old singer admitted she has labored for a decade to “grow to be a Kpop idol”, and the Netflix animated hit has helped her obtain that purpose.
She sang as a member of HUNTR/X on Golden from the present, which topped the Billboard Sizzling 100 chart for eight weeks, and has now received a Golden Globe Award.

“Now I’m right here as a singer and songwriter, so it’s a dream come true to be a part of a music that’s serving to different women and different boys and everybody of all ages to get by means of their hardship and to simply accept themselves.”
She devoted the prize to anybody else who has “had doorways closed on them”, insisting it is “by no means” the tip of the street.
She added: “I can confidently say rejection is redirection. So by no means quit. It is by no means too late to shine such as you have been born to be.”
Golden had stiff competitors, with Miley Cyrus within the working for her Avatar: Fireplace and Ash music Dream As One.
Stephen Schwartz was nominated twice for his work on Depraved: For Good, with No Place Like Residence and The Lady In The Bubble additionally on the shortlist.
Rounding off the nominees have been Nick Cave and Bryce Dessner’s music Practice Desires from the movie of the identical title, and Raphael Saadiq and Ludwig Goransson’s I Lied To You from Sinners.
