Briston Maroney has returned with the announcement of a brand new album, JIMMY, and the discharge of its two newest singles, “Tomatoes” and “Bullshit.”
Due on Could 2nd through Atlantic Information, JIMMY will likely be Maroney’s third full-length album, following 2023’s Ultrapure and his 2021 debut, Sunflower. Based on its press launch, the brand new album’s 12 tracks see him muse on the twin upbringings he acquired bouncing between divorced dad and mom, one marked by the “devil-may-care spirit” of north Florida and the opposite by the “comparatively privileged however pressured” lifetime of a Catholic faculty scholar in Tennessee.
