Now that he’s conscious of Geese’s music, Billy Corgan has instructed they combat the equally named band, Goose.
The Smashing Pumpkins vocalist was the visitor on a latest episode of the YouTube sequence Observe Star, the place he was requested to establish who sang a number of completely different songs. Towards the top of the episode, host Jack Coyne performed Geese’s “Au Pays du Cocaine” for him.
After digesting the music for some time, Corgan took off his headphones to guess what he was listening to. “Feels like a little bit of a Springsteen factor occurring there,” he stated, curiously. After Coyne instructed him that the tune was from a band named Geese, Corgan smiled, confirmed he didn’t imply a band named Goose, after which gave his ideas on the previous.

“They need to have a combat,” Corgan stated. “Goose versus Geese. Winner takes all.”
Corgan’s seeming approval of Geese’s music got here days after Nick Cave gave them a cosign of epic proportions when he described how their tune “Trinidad” makes him really feel.
