Beyoncé has thanked Sir Paul McCartney for penning “among the best songs ever made”.

The Texas Maintain ‘Em hitmaker wowed the London crowd together with her cowl of Beatles 1968 traditional Blackbird – which she recorded for her Grammy profitable nation document Cowboy Carter – at her closing of six exhibits on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday evening (16.06.25).
Beyoncé wrote on Instagram alongside an image of her carrying a Blackbird-themed ensemble designed by Macca’s clothier daughter Stella McCartney: “Thanks, Sir Paul McCartney, for writing among the best songs ever made. Each time I sing it I really feel so honored. And it’s a full circle second to put on your stunning daughter’s design.
“Thanks, London, for creating unforgettable reminiscences for me and my household.
“Holla at ‘ya after I come on tour once more! (sic)”
McCartney, 82, advised the ‘Single Girls’ hitmaker, 43, she did a “killer model” of Blackbird.
Urging his legion of followers to go and provides it a hear upon its launch in 2024, he penned on Instagram: “I’m so proud of @beyonce’s model of my track ‘Blackbird’. I feel she does an impressive model of it and it reinforces the civil rights message that impressed me to jot down the track within the first place.
“I feel Beyoncé has finished a fab model and would urge anybody who has not heard it but to test it out. You’ll adore it!”
He continued: “I spoke to her on FaceTime and she or he thanked me for writing it and letting her do it. I advised her the pleasure was all mine and I assumed she had finished a killer model of the track. After I noticed the footage on the tv within the early 60s of the black women being turned away from college, I discovered it stunning and I can’t imagine that also in as of late there are locations the place this type of factor is occurring proper now. Something my track and Beyoncé’s fabulous model can do to ease racial stress could be an important factor and makes me very proud.”
