Olivia Rodrigo cannot imagine she acquired to hang around with Harry Kinds after writing One Path fan fiction in school.

The 22-year-old pop star is a large Directioner – the identify given to 1D followers – and had a surreal full-circle second when she met up with the 31-year-old boy band member she used to fantasise over.
The Good 4 U hitmaker instructed the Music Makes Us podcast, she shared: “I used to write down One Path fan fiction once I was in elementary faculty.
“A few years later, I frolicked with Harry Kinds, and we acquired tea, and we walked round.
“And I acquired dwelling, and I used to be like, ‘What the f***?’ I really feel like I, like, wrote that in a fan fiction, and now I’ve lived it. That’s so loopy how that may occur in your life.”
Olivia added: “I keep in mind being like, ‘If I instructed 10-year-old Olivia, she’d be like, shut the f*** up, you’re mendacity.’”
Elsewhere on the podcast, the singer revealed she listens to Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Capsule every time she desires to raise her spirits.
Olivia is a big fan of Alanis’ 1995 album, which featured hits resembling Hand in My Pocket and Ironic, explaining that the document reminds her of “what [she’s] attempting to go after” in life.
Requested which album helps her to “reconnect” with herself, Olivia instructed the Music Makes Us podcast: “Actually, I hearken to [Alanis Morissette’s] Jagged Little Capsule once I’m feeling, like, I do not know what to say or like, who am I?
“For some purpose that album, similar to, each a part of what makes a human being a human being, it feels prefer it’s encapsulated in that document.”
The brunette magnificence – who has loved a meteoric rise in recent times – famous that “there’s a lot anger and spite and jealousy but in addition a lot pleasure and hope, all like intertwined into one another in such a ravishing means”.
Olivia added: “I f****** love that album as everybody on the planet does however I simply assume, it jogs my memory what I am attempting to go after.”
