The 46-year-old rocker has revealed he’s battling clear cell renal carcinoma, a type of kidney most cancers, that has metastasised into his lung.

Consequently, the ‘Right here With out You’ band have cancelled their North American tour, which was scheduled to star on Could 16 in Daytona Seashore, Florida.

In a video replace shared to Instagram, he stated: “I hope you’re having an incredible day at present. I’ve obtained some not-so-good information for you at present.

“I’ve been sick [since] a few weeks in the past and went to the hospital and obtained it checked out. Really obtained the analysis that I’ve obtained clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasised into my lung and it’s stage 4; that’s not actual good…”

Brad has vowed to fend off the lethal illness.

He continued: “However what? We serve a mighty God, and he can overcome something. So I’ve no worry.

“I actually, sincerely am not fearful of it in any respect.”

Referring to the band’s 2008 tune ‘It is Not My Time’, Brad captioned the clip: “Thanks for all of the recollections to this point. Now, I imagine “ITS NOT MY TIME” is de facto my tune. This’ll be a battle so we’d like our prayers warriors! Thank y’all for being the perfect followers on the planet. We love y’all!”

Brad has been inundated with messages of help from fellow well-known musicians.

Creed‘s Scott Stapp commented on Brad’s put up: “If anybody has the FAITH and STRENGTH to face this combat, it’s YOU brother. You and your loved ones are in my prayers every day…”
