The 29-year-old singer – whose actual title is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson – is a “very huge fan” of BRIT Award-winning lady band The Final Dinner Occasion and insisted that female-led acts “weren’t allowed to be seen” on the indie music scene for years up till now.
She instructed NME: “I’m very overtly an enormous fan of The Final Dinner Occasion, they’re such a beacon for me.
